DESCRIPTION:Experience Selma Steele’s gardens through the eyes – and works – of Indiana artists from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.At 5:30 pm the “chance to buy” reception opens with food\, wine\, and tours of the home\, studio\, and gardens. There will be catering by Kevin Ault featuring food and wine.At 6:00 pm the staff from the Steele Site will present a history-based program in the Visitor Center and the paintings will go on display in the Steele Studio. A 30-percent commission from art sales is shared between the Steele Site\, Indiana Heritage Arts\, and the Brown County Art Gallery Foundation. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Art Colony Weekend with a tour of the Brown County Public Library Art Collection with art historian Rachel Berenson Perry\, followed by a presentation on the history of the Brown County Hills Pottery by collector Rick Kelley. \n\n\n\nParticipants will gather in the lower lobby of the Brown County Public Library for a tour of the art throughout the building. Visitors must enter through the lower level for this program. Parking is available in the Library’s lower lot at the end of east Gould Street. Elevator access is available.
