DESCRIPTION:Painting Selma’s Garden returns with an expanded Paint-Out and a special Garden History program before the reception.  \n\n\n\nExperience Selma Steele’s gardens through the eyes – and works – of Indiana artists from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Beginning at 5:00 p.m.\, join a party in the garden\, visit with artists who created artwork throughout the day\, and purchase their works during a Wet Paint Sale. This joint project will feature a select list of some of your favorite IHA artists!Join us for an open house featuring live music by Zelton and John Kay and food and wine by Kevin Ault Catering and Bonified Bites in the beautiful Visitor’s Center. Tour the gardens\, home\, and studio. Docents will be on hand to present the history. DESCRIPTION:Taught by Alan Larkin\, Professor Emeritus at Indiana University South Bend\, this three-day drawing workshop is a condensed version of the observational drawing class that Dr. Larkin taught for more than thirty years. Learn the basic skills needed to draw anything you see\, strategies to unify these skills\, and acceleration techniques to help you become faster without sacrificing accuracy\, along with exercises to strengthen your skills. Backup materials will be available to help you work on your own.
