Indiana Heritage Arts

43rd Annual Exhibition & Sale

June 12 – July 10, 2021

BROWN COUNTY ART GALLERY · NASHVILLE, INDIANA

From the Show Chair

Welcome artists and patrons to the 43rd Annual Indiana Heritage Arts Exhibition. Our group has not escaped the challenges presented by COVID-19 of course, but we have still managed to pivot and thrive. This is a testament to the enduring power of great art, as well as to the hard work and dedication of the Indiana Heritage Arts board of directors.

I am grateful to the entire board, and especially for the hard work, determination, and leadership of IHA President Michael Fulton. We would not have been able to present an exhibition at all last year without his efforts, and his contributions this year have also been crucial to the success of our current show.

I am also grateful to this year’s judge, Bill Farnsworth. Bill has been our first judge to return after a previous year’s service, and as he did previously, he performed with grace and excellence. It’s a difficult task, and his contribution back toward the art profession is valued. I also wish to thank Jeanne Bennett and Bern Waldhier of the Brown County Art Gallery for their key help, as well as Debbie Dunbar and Tess Kean of Two Great Minds Marketing & Design. I also want to specially thank our patrons, donors and advertisers. Lastly, thanks as always to the artists who have the courage and ambition to share their artwork with the world.

Best,
Jim Ross
