AUGUST 2025

August 8 – 9 West Baden Paint Out
An opportunity to paint and sell your work at one of the most beautiful venues in Indiana. Artists may paint on the grounds or surrounding areas Friday and Saturday with an afternoon reception and sale in the Rotunda starting at 2:00. Artists are responsible for their own sales and there is no commission. Artists may bring 3 additional paintings in addition to what they create during the Paint Out. We are no longer allowing single artist table displays of products outside of the event except for three previous works. We wish this to be a true celebration of French Lick and West Baden.

In Other News…

Indiana Heritage Arts continues its partnership with the Brown County Art Gallery Foundation, the R.B. Annis Educational Foundation and the Mabel B. Annis Trust in supporting the Mabel B. Annis Student Art Competition which has its opening reception Sunday, March 9. IHA artist Jeff Klinker has agreed to judge the work of art students from Jr and Sr High Schools from 7 surrounding counties. IHA has helped pay teacher stipends to cover their expenses in transporting student work as well as “Teacher of the Year” awards.
If you would like to help IHA with this support, donations are welcome. Please send a check to IHA with Annis Exhibit in the memo space and send to IHA, P.O. Box 509, Nashville, In 47448. And please visit this wonderful celebration of young artists. The show runs through April 13. This is an important mission as many schools have reduced art programs.

The Indiana Heritage Arts Annual Meeting will be held via ZOOM on February 24 at 6:00 pm. All members are invited to join. A regular IHA Board meeting will follow.

If you would like to become involved with IHA and our exhibition, we are always looking for volunteers. Send us an email or call the Gallery. We do good work but we have a lot of fun too.

Happy New Year
