A big thank you to all the IHA artists and to the patrons who followed them to Brown County for the IHA annual Exhibition and Sale and “Painting Selma’s Garden” at the T.C. Steele State Historic Site.

The IHA Exhibition runs through July 9 so still time to see a great show, or check it out through our online 3D exhibit.

Twenty artists spent June 18th painting Selma’s Garden at the Steele State Historic Site and had art ready for the evening open house which featured music, wine, food, tours of the site and glorious weather. The paintings are for sale and a good selection remain in the Steele studio available for purchase through July 9.

The Indiana State Museum  has asked that we make this an annual event so make plans for next June!

We are grateful to all the donors, sponsors, volunteers and staff members who made these events so successful.

By the way, Congratulations are in order to WTIU and Producer Todd Gould for two Emmy Awards for the documentary “Singing Winds, the Life and Work of T.C. Steele”. You can see it by going to the WTIU website or watch it here.

Summer is a great time to visit the Brown County Art Gallery and the T.C. Steele State Historic Site and we hope to see you soon.

Note to IHA artists and buyers…pick up day is July 10, Noon to 4:00 pm
