Dear IHA Members and Supporters
The birds are chirping, and thoughts of spring are in the air. All are subject matter for artists who are ready to get outside and paint. Indiana Heritage Arts is getting ready for the 2024 Annual Exhibition and Sale. Here is what you need to know!
Call For Entries:
Go to www.indianaheritagearts.org to download the Call for Entries form beginning March 5. You have until May 5 to enter. Artists may enter up to three pieces. Be prepared to upload photos of your work in addition to entry information.
Once again there will be early check-in dates on May 11 and May 15 from 10-4 in addition to the traditional take-in date of Sunday, May 19, Noon to 4.
We will be sending out additional emails and updates can be found on the IHA Facebook Page.
Other News:
The beautiful “Painting Selma’s Garden” Paint Out is set for June 15. Last year’s event was a huge success with over 35 artists on hand and many visitors throughout the day. Details on how to take part will be coming out soon but save the date for this glorious day at a spectacular venue.
And speaking of spectacular venues, the IHA” Hoosier Masters Paint Out” at West Baden is set for August 2-3. Artists are free to paint on the grounds of a true Indiana Landmark and sell their work at a reception in the West Baden Springs Hotel rotunda. Plan to head south for this wonderful event.
If you haven’t visited the IHA Rapp Room at the Brown County Art Gallery, stop by and see the work of our great IHA artists on exhibit and for sale and view the “Hoosier Masters Permanent Collection” video which is now playing.
